I can see an increase honestly in my income I mean, it adds up, 10 jobs a days and 5 minutes wait, is almost 1h gone for nothing. Now i can get around £5 for that hour if they are late, which is still something. But guess what, customers dont make us wait any more hahaha

    https://www.blackrock.com/corporate/en-gb/newsroom/press-releases/article/corporate-one/press-releases/tfl-pension-fund-investment-mandate_GB
London – June 11, 2015 – TfL Pension Fund ('The Fund') has appointed BlackRock to manage liability-driven investing (LDI) and passive equity portfolios totaling £3.8bn assets.
The £1.6bn LDI mandate will include measures to protect the Fund from market uncertainties, including inflation as well as interest rate and equity volatility, whist having measured exposure to risk to achieve excess positive returns. The Fund's £2.2bn passive equity exposure will include investments across a range of index funds. The primary objective is for the Fund to hold sufficient assets to meet its member liabilities.
This new mandate follows an initial £100m commitment made by the Fund into the BlackRock Renewable Income in March 2014 - a UK-focused fund that invests in onshore wind, offshore wind and solar projects - which is part of a strategy to introduce new asset classes into the Fund's alternatives portfolio.
Stephen Field, Fund Secretary of TfL Pension Fund, said: "We have a duty to our Fund members to ensure we employ the best investment solutions and consider all possible market risks and opportunities. BlackRock is a key partner, helping us to navigate changing market conditions to deliver the outcomes we require for our members."
Andy Tunningley, Head of UK Strategic Institutional Clients at BlackRock said: "These are demanding times for pension funds and we believe the varied risks they face are best managed by understanding the true drivers of the underlying asset classes. We look forward to bringing together the best of BlackRock's investment and risk management platform to deliver the best outcomes for the Fund members."
The Fund has over 82,000 members with assets of £7.3bn as at March 31 2014, across multi-asset index strategies, enhanced index funds, bonds, global equities and alternatives.

I really like the idea of these compliments honestly, makes things better for us with these templates and my rating has improved since then. Its more clearly now , at least we have some kind of explanations from riders ratings

I think customers should be more aware of how serious the rating system can affects us:
-4 stars for them is like average where for us a 4 stars rating means deactivation
-3 stars is like not so great and for us is big problem
-1 and 2 stars should be used only for serious issues like assault or...

No idea, there might be 1,000. There's probably plenty registered but don't log on to Uber very often, or at all, as they're often busy with their own work.

X drivers are likely to be make more than Exec anyway, there's more work around, less dead mileage as more likely to get a job in the suburbs. Also much cheaper car to run.

Unless Uber takes their commission from tips, then it's not in their interests to introduce a tipping option.

Guys i dont understand what is wrong with you?

I see every evening all the drivers around city going offline to force the surge and when will appear , bum 100 cars online suddenly.
You might get a job on surge and make extra £20 or you may have to wait for the surge to go off because people will not request any-more.
Does it really worth it to waste time hoping you will get that surge job when you can make a regular job and get the money instead of waiting?
Do you know what will be the effect on the long term?
For uber this means one thing, demand is too high and no drivers to accept ---> Uber will get more drivers to fulfil the demand....

So next time when you go offline think about it , does it worth on the short time extra £20 and in 2 months time to have twice the number of drivers on the roads which effectively will generate even more competition for you?

Same thing the uber x drivers done and now guess what??? everybody complains there are too many drivers and is harder and harder
    THINK!!!

danthedriver reacted to cardinal in Carbon build up engine
In terms of the symptoms of the carbon build-up, typically the noise from the engine contains all the usual tick over noises and fans/pulleys, but is very 'bass-heavy' with a lot of low level rumble, shaking, etc. With the process I'm using this typically disappears within the first 10 minutes and the car idles better. The revs then climb quicker and any flat spots (if carbon related) are eliminated.

The rumble is down to the engine struggling, with added friction, reduced 'breathing'. Remove the carbon and the bass notes disappear, the engine works better and as a result you can recover MPG (notice I didn't say gain).

My car does this, have you ever tried this new thing called hydrogen engine cleaner??
Components such as Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF), Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve (EGR), Turbo and Injectors can all dramatically benefit from the removal of carbon using Green Engine Machine.....they say

danthedriver reacted to LUED in is it worth to move from X to Exec
Don't buy an Exec car just to upgrade, as you still have to do X and Pool jobs. Probably only 1 in 10 jobs will be an Exec job.
Also don't buy a Lux car specifically for Uber unless you already have your own clients, and you just use Uber in your downtime to make a little extra beer money when you wouldn't have been doing anything anyway.

I keep hearing people complaining about Uber but in the same time everybody is waiting for car upgrade, class upgrade, everyone has plans....people queuing to be be on uber platform.
    - Do you think if your work in the office  from 9 to 5 Monday to Friday is it going to be better????
To be at 9am at work you heave to leave the house by 8, wake up by 7.
Leave work at 5, getting home by 7pm......so in total 12 hours of your time x5 days = 60 hours for an average £2000/month if you are lucky ( do you think you can afford to pay for your car, diesel and insurance from those £2000???? )
Ok, you have social life after 7pm and in weekends some will say but you can have that with uber as well if your efficient.

    - Working for uber 60 hours a week, will generate you £1000 week that is £4000/month, and you can have social life if you are not greedy.....

Working or not for UBer , you still need a car, insurance, fuel...at least Uber will pay for it, be grateful in life

You should try the odour at rush-time in the bus or underground, next when you press the AC button inside your car think about.....
STOP COMPLAINING, dont like it then change it but You like it

3-ask him about his favourite route
