Private Hire ULEZ requirements From 8 April 2019, all PHVs travelling in the ULEZ zone must meet certain emissions standards or pay a £12.50 charge per day: Petrol cars, vans and minibuses must be Euro 4 Diesel cars, vans and minibuses must be Euro 6 The emissions standard of your vehicle can usually be determined from the date of its first registration as new, which is shown on the vehicle's registration document known as the V5C. Read our page on complying with ULEZ for more information on checking the emissions of your vehicle. In addition to the ULEZ requirements, the licensing requirements for PHVs will change to encourage uptake of zero emission capable PHVs from 2020. These requirements will apply to PHVs across the whole of London, not just those travelling in the ULEZ. What if Uber will not win the appeal and lets say in feb when the licence is due for Addison lee as well, no more UBer in London?? There are 2 options: 1- Lyft or any other company will fill the void! same corporate mind and commission but with a different image 2-A new start-up will emerge with better deals for drivers which will win the hearts of drivers

What i have done: - took out the sim and inserted in my old phone ( Samsung S3 ), now i have waze and no more headache trying to figure out the traffic, very efficient Uber phone i gave it to my daughter after a hardware reset

Latest black cab boycott guys: I heard from many people that black cabs are sending their wife's and daughters to request uber and then after the job making complains to Police that the uber driver abused them sexually -------> effect ------> your uber account deactivated . your licence suspended until the court will hear your case which can be 1 year and minim 6 months. One friend got deactivated same reason and now is looking for a job So be very careful there and i suggest to all of you to invest some money in dash cam. They discover a niche and are taking advantage now!!! So lame!!
