    Hi everyone

I applied my pco licence 06.06.18 , I passed my photography test 25.08.18

Still I am waiting for my pco licence , any one have idea how long it will take to come?

I called TLF one give answer( under prosses)

    Thanks

What about the medical form? this is not normal, if all the forms are ok you should have it in 1 week and also they need to provide a reason for taking too long.

Did you applied online? or sent the paper forms?

Sometimes riders might give their trip a low rating for reasons beyond your control – such as an issue with the app.

Previously, these ratings would have counted towards your overall rating, even if they weren’t a reflection of your service. Now, these ratings won’t count towards your score. Uber will still get the feedback to help us improve but it won’t impact your overall rating.

GUESS WHAT, the rating from different minorities background will still be low!!!

I am curious about this change if we can feel it?

Ratings are better honestly, in the last period

  3. I am thinking to join AL because i want to do an experiment.

I am doing around 60 hours with uber, if I do the same with AL my rent for the car will go down close to nothing and plus Addlee is paying for the maintenance of the car, less hasssle for me .

I will do it to see the differences, if is anyone here working or worked for them let me know pls

  4. earnings are capped anyway, all the drivers make about the same per hour, eventually is going to be like in US - x amount guarantee per hour.

Everything being computerized makes it easy for them to control everything....including money

So in many cities with the fare cuts, they have announced around the clock guarantees. Here is a sample of it:

    • Sunday 7am-Friday 5pm – Off Peak – $15 per hour
    • Friday/Saturday 5pm-3am – Peak – $20 per hour

Here are the requirements for the hourly guarantees:

    • An average of one ride per hour
    • Be online for 50 minutes of any hour to get the guarantee
    • Acceptance rate of over 90%

Here is how the Uber Hourly Guarantees work:

    • You need to work 50 minutes of every hour to get the guarantee. You will need to start right at the top of the hour: 5:00pm, or 6:00pm, etc. If you work from 5:30 to 6:30 and get one trip during that time, you won’t be paid for your guarantee. [Update, according to Kevin and an Uber rep (see comment below), you may not need to do this. You can work from 5:30 to 6:30 as long as you work 50 minutes of that hour. Thanks Kevin!]
    • Each portion of the guarantee, you are required to maintain an average of one trip per hour. So between 5pm and 3am, for example, you need to average one trip per hour. So if you got 10 trips within the first two hours and none the rest of the hours, you will still get paid the peak guarantee until you stop working or 3am, whichever comes first.
    • The trip requirement resets when it changes from Peak to Non-peak and vice versa. So if you continue to work from 3am to 5am, you will need two trips between that time frame.
    • If there is no change from peak to non-peak, then your trip requirements reset at the end of the day. So you work 10pm to 2am on a Monday night and there is no peak guarantee, you will need 2 trips between 10pm to 12am and then another 2 trips from 12am to 2am.
    • Make sure to accept every request. You never know what kind of app issue you may have that will cause you to miss a request. Accept every single request. Its a ride an hour.

  5. Its a different algorithm now, not like before ( the closest gets the job )

    - some drivers have priority than others

-there is a cap in earnings ( meaning that you can not make more than for ex: £1200 per week while others make £500, there is a balance )

    - the more you work and constant you are the more and faster you will get the jobs

ITs all very efficient and you and everybody else is just a piece of data in a big database called Uber :)

  6. We must keep pressure on Mayor Boris Johnson to ensure a cap on Private Hire licences & English speaking test requirement is implemented.

Is getting harder and harder to move around Mayfair, City because there are to many .

The letter attached has been drafted for Private Hire & Taxi drivers to send to their Member of Parliament in order to bring awareness of the challenges PHV & Taxi drivers face. Ask your MP to support Boris Johnson’s proposal for a cap on PHV drivers ASAP, emphasize that this needs to be implemented urgently in order to stop congestion on London Roads network and increase of air pollution.
