Prefer no rights with flexbility to work when and where you want. 
 
With rights, you're probably expected to work fixed, set shifts, and accept every job, including pool otherwise you'll be in breach of contract/agreement. You'll also be expected to wait in certain areas and you may not be paid to drive to the first pick up of your shift, and going home after last drop off (similar to working in any other job, i.e. office, Tesco, etc., they don't usually pay your commuting time). 

It's free, try it and see! 
If it doesn't work out, then just delete it. 

Need own work and/or work for other exec companies, if you have an exec car, as it's not worthwhile to use it on Uber as you have to take X work as well.

I had an older E class to start with so can work both platforms here in Liverpool. The car is going up for sale as the executive work we do get doesn't make up for it. 

Most passengers I collect, don't talk. They're usually on their phone, or on their laptop, or talking to their companion, if they've got one. They may just want a silent ride, may not like chit chat, etc. 
 
I prefer it that way anyway, better to concentrate on your driving instead. 
 
Also if the conversation turns religious and/or political, you'll have to try and remain neutral, whatever your views are, otherwise it won't be professional. 

The passenger (left) paid $31.02 for this trip, while the driver (right) saw the fare as $26.96. After Uber’s fee and other deductions, the driver earned $17.05.

I was able to handle drunk riders myself, but I am wondering if you know a better approach to handle these undesired customers? Some of them can get really aggressive or they will get sick inside your car , others will just sleep and not waking up after
What is your approach guys?

What were the number of drivers in Spring/Summer 2012, which was when Uber first started in London? I'm sure it was less than 90,000.
 

CONFIRMED: 
**6 points and £200 fine for using a mobile whilst driving from 1st March 2017**
Advice to keep it simple:
- Keep your mobile in a craddle or glove box
- You cant touch the phone if its in a craddle, even if you stop at lights and even if your parked up with the engine on
- If you want to use the sat nav on a mobile or plug the charger in. You must set it up before keys are in the ignition and dont touch it once engine is on
- You cant scroll for tracks on your mobile while driving so have your playlist set up before entering the car
-  If you work for Uber or alike, you cant touch the phone when the engine is on. So you cant accept work while your on the move
- Mobile can only be used if your parked up safely with engine off and keys out of ignition (Wireless keys - engine off)
- Death by dangerous driving is now life imprisonment, no longer 14 years
- You can use a mobile via built in-car technology like bluethooth. However, if you do have a collision, it can go against you.
- You cant use headphones 
- You cant use loud speaker from your phone
- You cant move your phone while the engine is on 
- If you call someone and they are driving, hang up
- If you are a passenger and the driver is using a phone, take it off them and tell them off
- If you are a employer and you force your staff to use a phone, It can result into imprisonment for you, large fines and your company being suspended from operation 
- Rules apply to PDAs also

Go to www.joindrover.com, they do fully comp insurance for 22+ so looking at £200-250 for a car and insurance.

That's why I set up a facebook group for uber drivers in Liverpool. It's much easier to get and share information that way.

It has probably already been renewed, and sorted out. 
When my operating licence was up for renewal, TfL sent out the information needed for the renewal application about 6 months in advance.

I had to leave my job as a train driver through multiple back surgeries and this is the most flexible thing I can do. I'm not shy about putting in the work and I've really sat down and thought about the job and the outgoings. I'll be happy if I can make £500 a week clean. Hoping that where it's still taking off in the north west it will be good for a year or two 

On UberX, you will get paid the same rate, regardless whether you drive a Ford Mondeo, you bought 2nd hand for £4,000, or a brand new £40,000 Mercedes E-Class.. 
 

Someone told me when they tried to sign up, uber said is on hold at the moment. But maybe It was just Christmas holiday ??
I don't really think they will wait until spring, specially for X, doesn't make sense  is not them
