I've never done taxi driving before, although I'm considering becoming an UBER driver, but have no idea how to go about it or costs, can anyone give step by step guide please?
I live in Birmingham and have my own car (11 plate)

Private Hire ULEZ requirements
From 8 April 2019, all PHVs travelling in the ULEZ zone must meet certain emissions standards or pay a £12.50 charge per day:

This is unbelievable, what a master plan from Uber.
All this licence show was actually a distraction fromt he main point, which is the driverless legal ground .
Now they have it, UBer can bring it on UK roads without a problem.
In 6-7 years almost everything  will be gone, they will snap 50% of the market in the first year, special the UBerX market.
Mr Hammond is due to announce regulation changes in Wednesday's Budget which will allow developers to apply to test driverless vehicles on UK roads.
Asked about the potential loss of jobs for drivers, he said the country could not "hide from change" and the government had to equip people with the skills "to take up new careers".

actually is just 150 miles range, the 2019 version will be with a bigger battery of 60W and that one will do 250 miles

Uber will introduce some extra fee for customers when driver will have to drive for example more than 2 miles to pick up location, what if this strategy will kill the surge which i dont see it in the last period anyway

No tipping is becoming a norm so i kinda stopped being mad when customers dont tip. I just feel sorry for them. So cheap and so miserable. You guys still getting any tips?
TIPS ARE GREAT. And they are the only reason I am still driving!

I don't understand, if you are offering good service you should get some tips

What i have done:
- took out the sim and inserted in my old phone ( Samsung S3 ), now i have waze and no more headache trying to figure out the traffic, very efficient
Uber phone i gave it to my daughter after a hardware reset

I heard from many people that black cabs are sending their wife's and daughters to request uber and then after the job making complains to Police that the uber driver abused them sexually -------> effect ------> your uber account deactivated . your licence suspended until the court will hear your case which can be 1 year and minim 6 months.
 
One friend got deactivated same reason and now is looking for a job
 
So be very careful there and i suggest to all of you to invest some money in dash cam.
 
They discover a niche and are taking advantage now!!!
