  1. Yeah, they need the money to invest in Uber :))
  2. at least we have hundred of millions from gov for charging points, to use it in this job only until the driverless cars will appear, I mean 4 years
  3. This is unbelievable, what a master plan from Uber. All this licence show was actually a distraction fromt he main point, which is the driverless legal ground . Now they have it, UBer can bring it on UK roads without a problem. In 6-7 years almost everything will be gone, they will snap 50% of the market in the first year, special the UBerX market. Mr Hammond is due to announce regulation changes in Wednesday's Budget which will allow developers to apply to test driverless vehicles on UK roads. Asked about the potential loss of jobs for drivers, he said the country could not "hide from change" and the government had to equip people with the skills "to take up new careers". http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-42040856
  4. NO WAY!!! although in the suburbs is cheaper indeed exec £7 and x £4 minimum
  5. By owning a lux car you lose every week £400 in depreciation, so you start the week -400.... How much money do they make so they can afford this kinda of losses? £1500 regularly minimum ? Is it true? most of the guys i asked they said is dead, barely make £1000
  6. If you make 4k, 1k goes to uber, 1k goes to running costs and you remain with 2k and you have to work minim 50 hours/week to achieve that
  7. Lyft is not yet in London mate, what are you talking about?
  8. I will say X as for Exec you have more running costs plus the car depreciation is very high for exec car, you lose every month minimum £400, you do the math
  9. £100 in 9 hours Exec, Friday night 3 hours without a job

  10. I am looking for 225.55.17 , who knows the some good cheap tyres? I was looking on Ebay, something better?
  11. This time lets hope will be more than 20 drivers, i am curious who is going, any support?
  12. http://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2015/01/27/how-ubers-autonomous-cars-will-destroy-10-million-jobs-and-reshape-the-economy-by-2025-lyft-google-zack-kanter/ Autonomous cars will be commonplace by 2025 and have a near monopoly by 2030, and the sweeping change they bring will eclipse every other innovation our society has experienced.
  13. MObil 1 always , never disappointed me
  14. I see and read and hear a lot about drivers dressing in shorts and t-shirts and hoodies, and flip flops, and that's all fine and good; to each their own. But I feel like if I'm providing a service to anyone, I'm gonna at least wear a button down shirt. That's my own personal rule though.
  15. I done it already, will keep you updated!
  16. wow, thanks for the reply guys. much appreciated all these informations
  17. I’m not really a business person. That’s the problem I have with all of this. How much profit are you guys making? I’m sure the amount varies. How much of what you make is actually profit?
  18. I’ve been thinking about doing this sometimes. Did you own a car before renting? If so, how much difference is there in your profit? I’m just not sure what to do. I want to buy a new Prius. But, I’m concerned I won’t be able to make enough money to pay for it.
  19. I’ve been thinking about it. I think it would be a good car. I’d hope those people who cared about the environment would give me a tip. Do you think it would be a wise investment?
  20. I can’t believe what I saw. I certainly wish I hadn’t seen it. It’s the first time someone has changed their clothes in my backseat. I sure wish it was the last!
  21. It seems like I’m earning more after receiving a few bad ratings. How is this even possible? It’s almost as if the bad ratings were good for my business.
