New DVLA road tax is double

OMG guys,

Here's how much the new DVLA car tax rules will cost you

 

 

 those emitting 151g/km will be charged £500 instead of £180

Cars emitting 131g/km will be taxed £200 instead of £130, those emitting 151g/km will be charged £500 instead of £180, those emitting 171g/km will be charged £800 instead of £295, and those emitting 191g/km will be charged £1,200 instead of £490.

Current road tax bands won’t change for cars that are already registered, so the existing VED bands will remain in place - meaning cars registered before April 2017 will continue to pay the current VED rates even after the new VED bands come into force. Fortunately for owners, the existing rates for CO2 bands are much more favourable to lower-polluting vehicles. 

So is ok, only for cars registered after 1st of April 2017...pfffff we are ok
