george
Of course can afford to pay those £3mil, is nothing for them compared with the net gross from London market, but those small other companies which represent maybe 30% from the market will slowly slowly disappear, If a local company cab company cant afford to pay the new rates and close down, where do you think their customers will move to??? Uber Uber pays £3mil but gains much more on the long term, good deal ! Well done for them Oledriver

Well done for them where i live there 3 local combanies, no more than 60 drivers each, long history but they already lost around 30% of their customers -the young ones, only the old people still call . And now with this increase you can imagine they have to put the rent up for drivers and then the chain of reactions will start in their de-favour . Maybe they can survive for another couple years and then that it. close down! Indeed well done Uber!!
