In what area. Certainly isn't like that in the north
-
We get all sorts over here and with knowlsey council lifting the knowledge exams lads are coming from all over to be licensed by that council. We see alot of Tfl also in Liverpool I personally drop off in Manchester and head back to Liverpool. No need to hang around there in my opinion
-
Things are fine over here. I know the hackneys get the hump about anyone non Liverpool licensed working here
-
I'd say less. I'd say so far out of 800 or so journeys 30 tops have been exec
-
Yeah I have no outgoings really other then fuel. Shame that there is so little executive work
-
I had an older E class to start with so can work both platforms here in Liverpool. The car is going up for sale as the executive work we do get doesn't make up for it.
-
We've only 17 lads in the group so I'll hang on until it's picked up properly
-
That's why I set up a facebook group for uber drivers in Liverpool. It's much easier to get and share information that way. Two weeks to get a reply over how king I could use a car for via the online chat
-
No idea, that's going off the rider app!
-
£5 base for exec in Liverpool. Have noticed in the rider app that x fares have increased by 40p
-
Hi all, been into my local hub but they're NEVER there. I'm buying a car and just want some clarification on something. The way I understand it is, if I buy for example an E Class the requirement is for it to be 2009 or newer. If I purchase a 2012 car I can use it for 3 years on the platform

Things seem fine at the moment over this side. I see your post on the other thread. What are the issues over in Manchester? I've several friends in London that are doing just fine considering how many people are ubering down there
-
I had to leave my job as a train driver through multiple back surgeries and this is the most flexible thing I can do. I'm not shy about putting in the work and I've really sat down and thought about the job and the outgoings. I'll be happy if I can make £500 a week clean. Hoping that where it's still taking off in the north west it will be good for a year or two
-
At the minute there isn't enough people to worthy a sub section. Thabk you for the offer and should it pick up maybe we can arrange something
-
They're support centres for uber drivers. Think we have four for Merseyside but not everyone will want to travel. No direct number so you always have to go to them if you have a question hence trying to get people together so the information is passed along quickly
-
After recently sitting my VRQ course to get my private hire license I decided to start a facebook group for uber drivers in the Liverpool/Merseyside area. It quickly became apparent that although uber run these ignition courses people were still in the dark on some aspects. The fact you have to go the green light hub to speak to someone was also an issue. It's very early days and I hope that as people join the information on offer will increase yet in the mean time I will answer questions to the best of my ability. https://www.facebook.com/groups/246606309086225/

What about Amazon Flex it's quite similar to uber in the sense you can pick and choose when to work
-
Nobody quotes there gross. That's like me as a train driver saying I earn 4k+ before tax. I standard corrected if that's what's implied
-
5K a month!!! Id be happy making half when I eventually get on the road
-
Hi pal, I have done my research but obviously nothing black and white on what I can pull in. Looking at hire costs, uber % and other out going I would need to clear a minimum of £1000 a week and I just don't know if its achievable
-
Alright everyone. No Liverpool forum, so posting in the nearest city. I am looking to start out as an Uber partner after being made redundant earlier in the year. I require some flexibility so on paper it seems a good idea Naturally with no details in black and white I have my apprehensions so wanted other drivers thoughts and experiences All the best
