Transport for London (TfL) has launched a public consultation on proposals to remove the congestion charge for private hire vehicles.
Act now, sign the consultation and say No to proposal

No unity between us, that's why everybody is taking advantage. divided by different reasons

They are on the edge,with everyone. I can only hope they will introduce tip option so they can fix it with the drivers and also to increase the prices as well to make it look good on the eyes of investors

Do you wait more than 5 minutes? What is your tolerance?
Many times I waited more than 5 minutes and then the customer is telling me, can you please hurry !!! wtf is this???
I assume if your order the car you are ready to leave right??? what do you do? I personally asked the guy to leave the car and advise him to take the underground as it is faster

If the passenger forgets something in the car, what do you do?
Do you go to Uber office and drop the item or you go back to destination of the customer?
What if you get a message saying some customers forgot something inside your car and you cant find it or you find it after 2 days???

It feels like we’re just rentals. We’re kind of like placeholders until the technology comes out

Hey guys,
What do you think about these new rules, i am totally shocked
A compulsory five-minute delay be-fore a passenger can be picked up by a private hire vehicle after booking;
Making it illegal to show cars available for immediate hire, either visibly or virtually, via an app;
Drivers must use facial or fingerprint recognition to log into an app;
Drivers should be allowed to work for only one operator at a time;
Passengers must state a fixed destination at the time of booking.

You keep around 40% from what you make.
Costs depends on vehicle efficiency and your insurance deal, more or less around £1000/month

should not be a problem if the amount of job requests will double as well , but i don't think the balance will be in our favor

I found some change not long ago. I don’t know who left it. I’m going to keep an eye out for it from now on. I felt like I won the lottery when I found it.

I’m driving to help pay the bills. It does what I need it to. I can’t say that I always enjoy it. But, I enjoy the money. Which is the reason why I’m doing it.
£5k grant from Uber is coming soon
