Here some results from the survey (thanks to those 26 people who have taken part!): - 42% of Drivers drive a Toyota Prius - 77% of Drivers own their own car - those leasing or renting, pay on average £150 per week for their car - insurance costs on average £55 per week - over half of respondents drive 6 days per week and state they drive for more than 10 hours per day - 68% drive during evenings - 75% of drivers user their cars never or very little outside of work - the biggest challenge for drivers when starting on Uber was to pay for the deposit for a car - 75% of drivers say their biggest problem today is making enough money Our team is contemplating turning some of the learnings from this survey into a business idea, as typically cars are used less than 12 hours per day and Uber drivers seem very keen to make more money.
