I think UberXL is worth it if you stick to it and provide a good service to your clients. I also think you keep roughly about 40% from what you make, which is not really that bad imho.

Uber definitely got a lot of criticism under its belt, but I still think the concept of a freelance driver earning money by offering a service is a really good one, even if Taxi companies will keep complaining until the end of time.

Looking for some info on this as well. Any real alternatives to Uber you could suggest?

I wonder how can you become Vat registered working for uber and what is the benefits for doing so??

Because my logic is telling me that i will lose another 20% if i am VAT register, the only positive aspects is that you can reclaim vat back from you car , petrol??
