What makes you give a passenger a bad rating?

I don't think the customers really know how serious the rating system is . Most of the riders who I picked they don't know that as an Uber drivers we rate them with star rating especially those rude people and they need to be remained that they need to be nice and friendly with us and also more respectful if the want us to rate them with a full 5 stars rating by giving them those helpful tips to those riders especially those first riders or a rider being taking Uber for a long time if they want to avoid getting a lower star rating :

 

1)helping us to keep the our vehicle clean especially and end of the trip after we present to them water ,soda and candy and we will more appreciate if they took the candy rap or an empty water or soda to through them at the trash can near by on their final destination .Some of the greedy riders especially the drunks passenger are making a miss after they finish eating and drinking they leave their garbage such as empty plastic cups , soda or beer cans.candy raps ,and their food waste instead of helping us to keep the our vehicle clean for the next by taking with them to trough it at any trash can near by at the final destination but some of the rude driver they don't' want cooperate with us at all.However; we have a write to charge them a clean up fee by report to you right away and the rider must know that .

 

2)We will be more happy to pick up a nice friendly rider by saying "Hi,How are you ?" or asking us to take a picture with them .Also they are very welcome to having a conversation with us make us feel having fun enjoying our job and with appreciation for a great service that's will make us to rate the rider with a full 5 star rating and they are very welcome to call us or requesting us by accepting them as our personal next time.

 

3)Some of the rude and the greedy riders at the arrival when we load the riders they will tell us immediately to take them to their final destination and asking us to use the our phone charger to charge their phone with out saying "Hi,How are you ?" and they become quite instead of having a small talk with us .I think non of us as an Uber driver can't tolerate them but we still drive them safe from point A to point B but no guarantee to get a full 5 star rating for being quite which is fair enough to rate them with a lower rate .
 

4)If the rider want to having a quite ride not talking with us as a friendly driver or want to talk among to someone with him/her or talking on the phone or texting or listen to music and he decided to ignoring us for any reason is up to the riders it depends their mood meanwhile we don't mind to leave them alone to have a quite ride or talking among to each others as long they don't want me join their conversation making sure to take them from point A to B safely. But ignoring us in purpose it does't mean to be rude with us and disrespectful or if we ask you for something about the trip it doesn't mean you are ignoring us and you don't want to listen to us or yelling us or being prejudice and races or snappy treating us as lower class like a slavers demand us what to do and all kind of bad behavior .However ;we will rate them with a lower star rating and write a feedback and we have a write to refuse to serve them again .

 

5)They more than welcome if they want to turn for them a radio station but the need to know if trying to make the volume more higher and make a noise by screaming or dancing or jumping to make the vehicle shaking or making any damage that's will cause an accident by disturbing us as safety drivers .Therefore; we will rate them with lower star rating for being annoyed and that's will effect the safety by disturbing the drivers doing his/her job to drive people safe from point A to B .

 

6) When we arrive on time at the pick up address they don't show up immediately and keep you waiting more than five minutes after we arrive keeping you waiting so long and afterword when the jump inside the our vehicle without apology for being late.

I hope that's more helpful to improve the effort for the riders looking for full 5 stars rating by telling them to be a good and respectful customer by take it seriously to avoid the unacceptable behavior on our system and it can really be frustrating.As a drivers we shouldn't have to deal with aggressive, violent, or disrespectful riders.Hoping that If a rider exhibits disrespectful, threatening, or unsafe behavior, they too may no longer be able to use the service by the Rider team who takes all the complaint from the drivers with utmost concern and priority which is fair enough to protect the Uber partners right from any unacceptable behavior from the rides .
