haji got a reaction from fullpower in Uber loses its licence to operate in London
THey can appeal until 13 oct and then during the process Uber can function without any problem. The appeal can go on for years....easy as that.
THe thing is TFL is bigger than uber when it comes to revenues gross, nothing compared with Ubers previous local gov fights, this it it for them

haji got a reaction from mike31 in Bus stop pick up or droop off?
is still unclear for me if we can pick up or drop off at bus stop locations?
i found this:
Bus stops
Although PHVs can stop to pick up or set down passengers at some London bus stops, it is recommended that drivers avoid these to reduce disruption to bus services. PHVs cannot stop at ‘bus stop clearways’ marked with a wide yellow line by the kerb and should not stop at bus stops on red routes.
Taxis and private hire vehicles can pick up or set down customers in a bus lane even if they are not normally allowed to drive in it. The only exceptions are stretches of red route where stopping is not permitted because of the disruption this would cause to already busy roads. Taxi and private hire drivers should be aware that:
Drivers should enter and leave the bus lane in the most direct and safe way Customers should never be set down in the middle of the road, even if the vehicle is stopped due to traffic - the driver must always get close to the kerb Private hire vehicles cannot stop at 'bus stop clearways' marked with a wide yellow line by the kerb. On red routes, both taxis and private hire vehicles cannot stop at bus stops marked with a wide red line by the kerb. At other red route bus stops, taxi and private hire drivers should avoid stopping to avoid disruption to the bus network Remember, only licensed taxi drivers can drive in bus lanes - private hire vehicles are not allowed. Licensed taxi drivers should check the signs at the start of the bus lanes, however, because there are a still a number of bus lanes they cannot use https://tfl.gov.uk/info-for/taxis-and-private-hire/parking-information

I think they have to change their name first right , 15% commission is good but how they will attract customers I wonder

haji reacted to george in Taxify in London
I can see on different FB groups they are recruiting already drivers in London, same prices as Uber but with 15% commission, the ap is basically a clone of Uber the main difference is for the customer being able to pay cash as well.
I am curious if these guys will have the same growth as the others like wheely and cabbie....although those had the same commission as Uber.
Any insight information ??

No , is not dead. You can check for yourself, plenty of surge , for 60 hours/week you can earn after uber commission around £1,500 and drive way more less than X.
